Sunday, April 11th, 2010: Crawford Rips New York (A) for 5 Hits
"Believe it or not," said Oakland center fielder Carl Crawford, "they threw me some good pitches today."

That would be hard to believe for anyone who saw him dispose of the Yankees with a great 5-hit performance.

"He made it look easy," said the New York (A) manager, who saw his team fall to the Oakland Athletics, 11-1. "Hats off to him!"

C. Crawford singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and walked in the 8th.

This year Crawford has no home runs and a .500 batting average.
