The Midwest League announced the winner of the Pitcher of the Month Award for May.
It went to Jason Godin of Burlington for his outstanding 6-0 record and 0.82 ERA.
Godin also chalked up 6 starts, 44 innings and 20 strikeouts.
In 2010 Godin has fashioned a 8-2 mark, 1.89 ERA and pitched 71.1 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .238 against him and he has logged 32 strikeouts.

Nobody was better with the bat in May!
Josh Whitesell caught everyone's attention with some hot hitting and today he came away with the Batter of the Month award.
Burlington's first baseman put together a solid month with a .288 batting average, 10 home runs, 26 RBIs and 25 runs scored.
Whitesell is hitting .302 this year with 14 home runs, 45 RBIs and 39 runs scored. He has 60 hits in 199 at-bats, 24 walks and a .373 on-base percentage. Whitesell has played in 51 games.

 | Monday, May 31st, 2010: Wisconsin-Burlington Brawl, Amaya and Renshaw Suspended
There was a mass free-for-all yesterday at Fox Cities Stadium. Both dugouts emptied when Wisconsin's Francisco Amaya and Burlington's Jacob Renshaw scuffled with one another after some heated words.
In an official statement today, the league commissioner suspended both parties for 5 games.
Amaya currently has a .209 batting average with 37 hits, 1 homers, 10 RBIs, 18 runs scored and a .255 OBP.
To date this year, Renshaw shows a 7-3 record, 11 starts, 76.1 innings, 70 strikeouts and a 3.07 ERA.
