Over the past month Shane Lindsay has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the Texas League. He proved all that and now he's been named May's Pitcher of the Month.
The rookie for the Tulsa Drillers posted 5-1 mark and a 2.47 ERA. In 6 starts he tossed 43.2 innings, permitted 21 hits and fanned 46 batters.
This season Lindsay has registered 7 wins and 2 losses in 11 starts with a 2.42 ERA.

 | Tuesday, June 1st, 2010: Brown Takes TEX's Best Bat Award
Even though he is a newcomer to Texas League, Corey Brown put up some good numbers in May and brought home the TEX Batter of the Month trophy.
He was one of Midland's offensive leaders with a .352 average in 28 games. He also racked up 6 home runs, 26 RBIs and 21 runs scored.
In 48 games this year Brown has posted a .339 average and put up these numbers: 7 home runs, 42 RBIs and 37 runs scored.

| Monday, May 31st, 2010: Brown: Big Hit in the Texas League
Corey Brown kept his eye on the ball last week and now all eyes are on him. The Midland Rockhounds right fielder easily swung his way to the Texas League Player of the Week Award with 10 hits in 24 at-bats.
Brown hit .417 last week with 2 home runs, 5 RBIs and 7 runs scored.
In 2010 Brown is batting .344 with 7 home runs.
