His teammates congratulated him at home plate after he circled the bases. "I didn't see all of them out there," Lee said with a chuckle, "until I rounded third base." He added sheepishly: "It was only a home run. It's not like I won us a World Series!" In 6 at-bats the Rockies first baseman collected 3 hits in his historic game, scored 2 runs, and had 4 RBI. Lee is batting .286 with 1781 career base hits, including 399 doubles, 31 triples and 300 home runs with 1016 RBIs and 1006 runs scored. He has played in 1743 games, stolen 116 bases and compiled a .368 OBP. |
