Monday, May 10th, 2010: Year Ends for Brandon Wood in Los Angeles (A)
The season is finished for Brandon Wood of the Los Angeles (A) Angels. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Angels third baseman suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament while running the bases in a recent game against the Minnesota Twins. Team doctors said it would take at least 12-13 months to heal.

So far in 2010 Wood is hitting .306 with 2 home runs, 20 RBIs and 17 runs scored. He has 37 hits and played in 31 games.
