 | Monday, November 16th, 2009: Off-Field Injury Strikes Ronny Cedeno In a news release, the Philadelphia Phillies announced that shortstop Ronny Cedeno has a torn ankle ligaments. The injury will keep Cedeno out of action for about 16-17 months. The statement did not indicate how the mishap occurred. In 497 games Cedeno has a career .270 batting average and a .309 on-base percentage. He has hit 31 home runs with 158 RBIs and 159 runs scored. |
