 | Monday, April 5th, 2010: Swap: Roberts for Barfield 32-year old second baseman Brian Roberts will now be playing for the New York (N) Mets and 27-year old second baseman Josh Barfield will be suiting up for the Colorado Rockies. The trade was announced today at a press conference by club officials. In his career Roberts has gotten 1215 hits with a .280 batting average, scored 686 runs, hit 63 home runs and driven in 418. Barfield is batting .259 lifetime with 352 hits, 70 doubles, 12 triples, 20 home runs, 135 RBIs to date. He has also scored 164 runs. |
